Basically because it would be like watching "dumb and dumber"! Granted it would be highly entertaining to watch Americas most highly paid moron try to converse with Iran's highest ranking national fanatic, but it wouldn't really accomplish anything as far as any world goals.

He might be Iran's leader but Iran sponsors terrorist organizations. The USA does not negotiate or associate with terrorist. Bush has clearly stated this in the past. Bush does not have to give this guy the time of day. All other answers written here for this question are obviously written by liberals or young people that have no clue about politics. And if Bush was an idiot, I think he would not be your president. Read & learn and stop listening to the left!

No, they're both surely corrupt evil men. the in ordinary words reason Obama receives a lot less flack from the electorate of u . s . of america is because a million: he's extra likable, and a couple of: because he's of african heritage. Obama is an evil guy. even as he became in Chicago, he developed a scheme the position he and his cohorts would enable Chicago properties give way and degrade, then he would ask for Chicago tax money and pay HIMSELF to demolish the crumbling homes- and rebuild new properties on correct of the former... rinse and repeat. obviously no individual talks about that. also, Obama works with Drug Cartels in Mexico besides the actual undeniable truth that he tries to implement the conflict on drugs federal authorities regulations. even as Bush went to a conflict illegally less than pretend pretenses and has thoroughly destroyed Iraq it really is on the verge of a Civil conflict because of the Iraqi authorities oppressing the electorate, Obama keeps the conflict in Afghanistan and plans on utilising TAX PAYER money to deliver MERCENARIES to Afghanistan- therefor the authorities's presence continues to be there and we are nevertheless dropping BILLIONS of bucks killing rebels and danger free those who would do no damage to u . s . of america's danger free. Obama also makes use of drones to kill 1000's of danger free men, women, and toddlers- it really is unlawful and is a type of terrorism itself. Bush had Gitmo opened and tortured the illegally abducted alleged "terrorists", yet Obama reinstated protection stress tribunals, if truth be told destroying his promise to the persons. He also keeps the torture through stress feeding human beings, and putting them in small rooms with loud metallic song taking section in and strobe lights (psychological torture) Obama has also prosecuted the most whistleblowers contained in the heritage of Presidents, and has an energetic conflict on Press (see present day AP/DOJ Scandal) Obama is a administration freak. Obama is a corrupted guy. he's an evil guy. yet you could obey. you could be a sheep.

It would be foolish of him to do so. Have you heard Bush speak? This guy is not the sharpest tool in the shed by any stretch of the imagination.
The Iranian president is actually quite intelligent and has a sneaky way with words. I do think he is mentally superior to Bush. I really wish I was lying on that part. I really wish Bush was able to combat some showy insensitive guy, but he's not.
Plus, it really wouldn't solve anything. It would all just be words.

It would serve NO purpose. Ahmadinejad is a nut case who believes his savior lives at the bottom of a well, and the only thing that will get him out is the world turning into total chaos. How does one debate with that type of delusion?

Well, millions of people would watch the debate, discussion, whatever, and they'll be exposed to facts and perspectives that the so-called free mainstream media in US has been trying to hide from them. This is not a healthy situation for US, Israel, and plutocracy...Can you imagine what would happen if the American public wakes up and actually demand genuine democracy instead of the travesty they have!

Why would someone debate with totalitarian dictator. No matter what each side says it would be turned around and spun for the idealogical sides. Iran would still see President Bush and America as bad and we here would still see their Pres. as an idiot.

Probably because the rabid animal wants to kill him.
Why don't you go debate with a hungry Great White Shark?

Why is it a good idea to debate with a terrorist who is out to destroy us and our allies?
A debate would be pointless. Moreover, it would only give our fundamentalist enemies more reason to hate us, as the Iranian people would never give what Bush said any credence, and we would not give their terrorist dictator's opinions any credence.
