Paypal is an Ebay company used to automatically transfer money from you to the seller. It's the safest way to buy on Ebay, but is a bad idea for sellers.

paypal and ebay go hand in hand, if you use ebay, paypal is the fastest and easiest way to pay.
It doesn't cost you extra to pay thru' paypal

if you are selling on ebay, and accepting money thru' paypal, you are charged twice....once by ebay for the sale and once by paypal for handling the payment.

Paypal handle a hell of a lot of payments and you would expect a few bad transactions.......but paypal has a bad reputation for taking responsibility for any problems, especially considering the wad of cash that they charge for their 'service'
