you start to forget right after high school. you base your age around your school years. after that you dont have anything to associate it with. once you start to get closer to the age of 21, the more you keep in check with the number. After the age of 25 you start to really stop caring about the number. Then from there on out you only remember if you WANT TO REMEMBER. lol

Some people choose to forget their age. If a person takes care of themselves properly, and follows the old rule - "Everything in Moderation," then it eventually comes to be true: a person is as old as they feel -- literally! At this point, they may actually wish to "forget" (conveniently) their actual age!

People forget a lot of things: their phone numbers, SS number, and their age. It is not so much a function of age as it is having too much on your plate. You can only concentrate on a finite number of things at once, and since remembering your age or other relatively unimportant data is not high on most people's list of priorities, they "forget" their age, or phone number etc.

Depends on the person. Some people concentrate on other things in life forgetting the things that aren't as important to them. your mind will prioritize whats important to you.

Maybe when you feel that your age is not your defining feature and you feel you can stand alone without a number. Then it's not important to remember, you're just living your life.
