Could be psychological. Think about it, the first thing everyone does when they know someone who is having a baby girl is run out and by little pink things for her, and then she dressed in little pink things for years and years. Could also be why so woman cant stand pink.

I'm a female, and I HATE PINK. It's a hideous color. FYI: not all females like pink. just thought you should know.

women are stereotypically more fond of pink things because society allows women to express themselves however they wish. If they think something's cute, they can say so/wear it/ etc.
Men, however, are pressed into being "manly" and thinking such things are "gay" for a man to like, etc. It's all in your upbringing and the peer pressures of society.
