What have you done lately to save money?

every time I buy something I write down what it was and how much it cost. then organize all the thing you spend money on and how much examples: entertainment, food, gas. Then you can cut back. also find forms of entertainment that don't cost a lot of money. cut back on bills you don't need. relly think about what is a need and what is a want.

Every time I break a bill, whatever change I get from that I keep in a jar. And in three weeks I've already saved 30 dollars. Also, I don't go out to eat. I cook for myself. And I shop at Grocery Outlets. I can fill my freezer for under 20 dollars.

Repaired my son's ceiling that was damaged from rain before we bought the house.
Painted the house inside
Strippped the floors of 12X12" tiles, sanded, and polished the floors.
Buy more Store-Brand items.
That's about it for now, I will need to keep up with this though, as we just bought a home for double mortgage that we currently pay.

well i cant say anything because im a wealthy person but i save and invest my money and also i get all my checks drafted to my checking account where i dont see any of it then i have a limit of how much i can take out thats how i save my money

Depending on your age, not go to bars or go out to eat all the time. Put most of it in a saving account with limited access.

I cut coupons, keep my ac set to 78, and try to do all my errands on the way home from work. Paying bills online saves me the stamps.

I stopped getting cable service in the summer b/c I am too busy anyways to watch TV and I also got rid of my land line b/c I use my cell phone all the time anyways!

Quite a lot. I work in purchasing and save my company about £20,000 a year minimum.
