Join a weight watcher's club or something like it so that you can get into a routine fairly quick to help you focus on losing weight.

Then get up, get out, and get moving so you don't fall into a rut of making excuses to be lazy!

As far as ignorance goes. Is it because of not knowing what to do about your situation or ignorant in general? If it is the first one then get knowledgeable! You have resources available at your finger tip. You have a computer to surf with, a phone book to look things up and a library to go to, to get out of the house!

All these things should keep you quite busy enough so you can break out of the mindset you have found your self in. Good luck!

Become a meth addict! You'll skinny right on up and be "tweeking" all the time so nobody can say that you're lazy!

You might still be ignorant, but you won't be a "fat, lazy, ignorant slob"!

This will sound a little and I'm sorry for that it's just the I feel about it. You already took the first step and know you no what you have to do you can't have people telling you because in time you will give up just do what you have to do to get were you want to be.

First of all stop hating yourself and calling yourself names. Get a picture of yourself when you were a child. If that child was your daughter, what would you want for her? Would you feed her crap or help her to eat better. Would you encourage her to exercise or let her sit in front of the computer all day? What would you want her to be when she grew up. Have some respect for yourself and say to yourself everyday; I deserve more and I am going to get it. That little child deserves the best and it is up to you to make it happen . No one else! God Bless, Janice

the first step is recognizing that this is what you are. so i think you've got that covered. step 2 is to make a plan such as: sometime soon, i think i'll clean up this mess and do something with my life, but only if i really feel like it. after that it's clear sailing.

Something that has helped me is to set a kitchen timer and race against myself to see what all can get done in 10 minutes. Try five minutes in each room you will be surprised!!
GOOD LUCK!
