It depends on the type of statistics that the researchers performed. If their sampling is statistically sound and the questionnaire are not misleading or biased, the statistic research is believable to that extent.
Also sometimes it is like measuring IQ - our measurement for gay-ness may be wrong- as a concept.
When we called something is of intelligence then that things is categorised as intelligence- but in fact it is useless for some to have it therefore it is discarded when they evolves- and so they do not show what they have on what we called IQ scales - but this does not mean those people are not intelligent.
It is usuful to know the very person/people I love and thinking to have most intimate relationship togather is sexually orientated towards me (coz I like having one just about more than pratonic way of relationship, and that is my preferance), but apart from that issue, I feel rather sad that people have to shout loud (or in some case cannot even do so due to circomstances) about their identity and that they are human.
Not I have against us shouting about what we are, but sometimes I feel this is done as a reaction of something rather than free format way of saying what we are and treasure the variety that we have, because that we are all we have here and now and everyone does represent a fliction of everyone. And because it is one who perceives and without one perceiving, the world to this "one" does not exist.

Yes.
BTW. 1 person in 4 suffers from a mental illness.
If 3 of your friend are ok, then it must be you.
