CD's? and money they make off them?

lets say the average cd is usually sold for like 12 dollars... how much do you think a celebrity would make off of each cd? like 4 or 5 dollars?

Depending on their contract, $4 or $5 would be the max. Figure the store selling it takes a cut of the price, the record label gets a cut, then the manufacturer, then the artist - who has to then pay their agent, manager, lawyer, and publicist. Most of their revenue comes from merchandising from concert tours.
