Is there an easy way to beat Adel? I spend most of my time healing my party and hardly ever hitting her. When I do, I have to then heal Rinoa or the rest of my party after her meteor. I've tried shell on my party and casting regan on Rinoa. I just can't do it without a GF!!! I've been trying for days now... I am so frustrated!!! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found FFVIII extremly easy for the reason there is a surefire way to beat any boss.
1) Character 1 casts Meltdown on boss
2) Character 2 casts Aura on Squall (I think that is the right name, the spell to cause a limit break).
3) Squall uses Lionheart
4) Boss hits the ground.
Ultimate Weapon who was supposed to be the biggest baddest ****** ****** (i'll sensor it since Yahoo! won't >.>) in all of Final Fantasy at that point died exactly like above. Took all of one turn and the boss never got a hit off.
Just make sure you max out your drawed magicks and don't equip magic that you might actaully use in battle (i.e. meltdown, cures). This is extremely boring, but if you want to go though the game with ease you need to do it.

OK u might need to start over but how i defeated Adel WOW IT WAS HARD!! OK u need to go to this island either the island closet to H-e-l-l (yes that's its name) or the island closet to heaven the island closed to h-e-l-l is the long island that is the closet to the north west the other one island closet to heaven look at the big map u see in the north east part a bunch of tiny islands well There's should be a BIG Forest now going to either island degenerate the monsters use quistis's break limit make sure u have inflate pandemonium or cacter ability when the battle starts use inflate for qustis and be sure shes in yellow and degenerate the monsters and have HB bonus + 30 hp to the carter when level up and if all else fails google it i found all the gf by searching the web and to get allot of really good magic go to the islands heal and hevan and thare is secret draw points thare be shure u have enc-none diblos ability defeat him in magic lamp get from early in the game Evan before u meet rinoa so try try again don't kill rinoa i used cacter and then really fast used the recover command i really hope this helps o and by the way if u try to go to your ship squall will say NO!! I'm not leaving rinoa like this!! so i hope u have other save slots because now your going to half to re load a previous save file chose one closet to weare u r now i really hope this helps!!

It is not that difficult actually, it is an optional to cast regen on rinoa, if you do so than it will be better else you need to heal her everytime Adel draw her life. Other than this just use you normal attack on Adel will do after all Adel ultimate is not that powerful so you can actually take your time to bring Adel down, just remember to keep an eye on all your players HP included Rinoa. Hope it may help
