my husband got arrested for drugs. he got a good lawyer that he is paying lots of money for. i need to know that once he is out of jail (if the trafficking charge is dropped to a misdimeanor that is) if there is a state we can move to that will allow you to just pay off the probation in full. instead of being on it for 5 years

Even if you move (and the new state would have to agree to accept supervision), the rules of the original state would control all issues concerning early termination.

OK your talking about paying for probation? That would be any fine or restitution he owes. Far as probation goes that's a court order for a period of time you cannot change that unless he is willing to serve more time
