I think it because they almost see that person as a celebrity. Seriously, it's as if they want to be that person or be near that person in order to feel important. It's like there is something missing in their lives and the only way they can feel good about themselves is to be close to that other person. It really has a lot to do with low self esteem.

I really don't know why but i really wish it didn't happen i think that its just a part of us as humans want to love and show compassion for the other sex. but i really have no idea..all I know is that we do get obsessed and not only with boys or girls like dates and stuff but like we want to be other people cause we see thier lives as being better then ours and everything.

Because they are insecure and a lot of people want what they can't have. If they can't have someone, it makes them want that person THAT much more. They're psycho!
