what are the chances of finding a high school social studies teaching job in New York City if you live out of state?

Your chances are VERY good. Check out this site. They actually travel to YOUR state and conduct interviews. I was hired on the spot in May, but turned it down later b/c NYC is too large of a city for me and the cost of living is much higher than here. Good luck!
