To answer your question, If I'm in a rush and late for work, then of course fast and furious. On the other hand, if its a great Sunday Morning, there's nothing better than to take your time, admire the view and to just see where you end up. So slow and leisurely at the weekends.

slow and leisurely, a warming of the skin, awakening the senses, then the tempo picks up, the blows land a little harder with more of a snap to them, my mind starts to hang between the pain and the hint of something else beneath the surface. then the blows seem to change, they're still firm and hard yet they become a dance across my skin, a dance that begins to become pleasurable, as the intensity increases it seems as if i'm floating, i'm soaring through the clouds as the endorphins kick in and then the pace slows again, bringing me back down to perhaps start anew or to be held and loved.
