i cant seen to get this answer....

(4x7y-2)-4
The 7 and -2 inside the parenthesis are exponents and so is the -4 outside the parenthesis. .
I've tried every way and i cant get it.. please help

= 4^(-4)[X^(-28)] [Y^8]

4^4[X^28]

(4x7y-2)-4

you do what is in parenthesis 1st.

4x7=28 therefore (28y-2)-4= (26y)-4 =(22y)
