I'm trying to buy my boyfriend tickets to the game since he is such a huge fan but I want to get him the closest seating to the team.

Since the big house is really not that big, any seat is ok, but you'l probably want to get as close to the field as you can.

And if you wonder why it's called "The Big House" and they can fit so many people, if its not that big....it's because they mark off their "seats" to be smaller than other stadiums, of course! So expect to be crowded no matter where you're sitting.

You don't want 1st row. You can't enjoy the game.
There are NO bad seats in the Big House.
The most fun he will have is in/near the student section. I would suggest starting there.
