Take a look into science and the study of beauty. One study showed babies faces of people, some considered beautiful and some considered ugly. The babies reacted stronger to the "beautiful" people. Scientists then took it one step further and put the same faces through a computer system. The only thing the computer found in common between all the faces was symmetry.
Seems that your face/body must have some sort of symmetry to be considered beautiful.
I consider myself "beautiful" because my eyes line up, my nostrils are even, my eyebrows are even, my arms are the same length, my smile is the same from one side to another.
I'm not Quasimoto, so I'm doing okay.

In a way, I think it has to do with the feedback you get from others over the long haul and the amount of confidence you project to others. I have been attracted to people who were not exactly the hottest people if you were just looking at their snaps solely based on how they acted. A sexy hot attitude, confidence in yourself and common sense grooming can make everyone appear at their best.

If I looked in the mirror and saw something like this, www.petitionspot.com/uploads/6099-ugly_girl2.jpg, i would consider myself the most ugly person ever. Now if I looked in the mirror and saw something like this, www.avaxhome.ru/.../08224242ykz_big.jpg, I would definatly consider myself the most gorgeous person in the world.

I guess if everyone tells him/her that he/she is beautiful/handsome then he/she starts to believe it... i dont know.

Well...in my perspective its pretty darn obvious. *Shrug*
If I looked in the mirror and saw this:

I would consider myself quite gorgeous. :)
