I am not sure if there is an age limit on that. I would imagine it would vary from state to state. Some of me and my classmates were pharmacy interns before we were 21 and could have all the responsibilities of a pharmacist under their supervision. I know nurses that were able to give narcotics to patients before they were able to drink because they became LPNs in high school. I would call the program and your board of pharmacy and find out. I have not seen age limits in any of my law exams for pharmacy staff. I would think there is not any. I would imagine it is all about certification and exams. Look into it if that is what you want to do. If you are thinking of taking this step this early I would seriously think of going to pharmacy school if you like it. If you do not think of going into another medical or other profession. Being a technician is a very important and essential job but does not pay well in the long run. I will pay well when you are very young however and be a great experience. Remember if you do this you are a very important part of the health care team and the pharmacist will rely on your care and accuracy. The patient rely on your careful work as well.
