We evacuated to Orlando, FL, then moved closer to Mandeville. Once we could get into the city (mid-September) I was in my house, removing all destroyed possessions and gutting my home.
I have been back full-time since May, but my family has been in our home since we 'acquired' gas and electric service around late-October.
And I even have a computer! Haw Haw Haw! People are so funny!

We have 13 New Orleans "Katrina" students at our University here in Michigan.

One of them ended up right here in Georgia. She advertised for a room and she was from the Katrina disaster. So I rented out my Mobile Home to her. She is still here and loves it. Single too:)

Im in Salt Lake City Utah. People here are so nice and hospitable.
The mormans arent really bad or obnoxious either. i thought they would be all churchy and all be poligamists, but really, the mormons dont even practice poligamy and its all a lie
they are really cool people.

I personally know two that are here in Chicago. One is renting a place from a friend of a friend (who let her stay there for a few months for free before she decided to stay). Another is out in the suburbs staying with a friend of his.
Both are staying in Chicago.

I say Memphis, TN because now my school is mostly filled with them. Also I would think most of them wouldn't have a computer duh!!! But it is good that you are thoughtful.
