I think I'll let God decide that one but I have always thought that it would be kinder for my mate to die first and I would be the one to grieve, the one left behind always has it worse. Maybe some people wouldnt understand that kind of reasoning but I would be willing to let my mate choose if he could. That's why God should decide anyway. Maybe we'll die together and we won't have to worry about that.

Definately after. I could not imagine him having to do the laundry considering his allergy to the washing machine I think he has. And then the cooking aspect? He'd be wasting our kids inheritance on resturant dinners. Not to mention the fact that I'd be watching him, and for all he's put me through over the years, I'd be way toooo tempted to haunt him once in awhile. It would truly be better if he went first.
I just re-read that, it sounds awful...sorry, we've been married a long time! It would just be better for us to go together or him to go first...to many people depend on me, and he tells me all the time he wouldn't know what to do without me.

I married to care for my wife. She will be very heartbroken should I go before her. Sure, I won't have the burden/worry, but she will. It would be selfish of me to wish to go before she does. My wife has said she hopes we both go together, so we'll never know the heartbreak and loneliness without the other. That may be the best way, but it doesn't happen that way often.

Before I think. I would like her to remain happy and healthy for as long as possible. Plus being the selfish individual I am I do not want to live without her in my life.

Before... It is easier for men to meet women, especially later on in life. I would want him to get re-married and be happy again. (My only consideration being that our child is done with college, and on his path to a great life. Before that, I might be a little concerned if I were to go first).

Been there.....I want to die first....but I know it is really based on what God wants most.
I don't think that I could make it a second time around.

with.. or very very shortly after..
Reason: (with) I don't want to hurt that badly without him.
(very very shortly after) I don't want him to have to hurt that badly over me, I would rather hurt then have him hurting.
Make sense?
