Yes, In fact some of us even wait until we are married. Societal pressures are constantly telling our youth to give into their hormones. But look at the rise in STD cases, unwanted pregnancies and so on. There are reasons to wait and more than just Religious or moral reasons. If for nothing else, my personal health is why I will wait.

That is a weird question, but yes there should be after all I'm a virgin and I'm going to be for a long time and your not a virgin until you've had sexually intercourse. Although the number is dropping because the average age for losing your virginity is 14 and up.

Actually i'm virgin. And in Turkey exactly, nearly all of the girls i know are virgin.(They are at least 18). Furthermore in Islam there is a rule: "Having a sexual relationship before marriage is bad and forbidden"
In my opinion the rule is fully correct. Because if u ask me what personal plusses you look for a marriage.. i'll say being virgin is one of them. Cos when u marry there must be a secret thing. And also Virginity has to be seen like a expensive car which you can not drive once more. When u have a sex once, it is gone.... Where is the love..

Why not?! Obviously. The percentage of existing virgin at age 14 will stagger from 30%-60% in western regions.. And in eastern regions it should be between 60-100%

I hope so. 14 is way too young. We don't live in a country where you need to be married off by the age of 12. Wait until you are ready. Besides, do you want to be a parent by 15?

Yes, I'm 13 and although I have a boyfriend, I'm planning on staying one for quite a good long time after 14. Waiting until marriage is always good.

I often wonder that myself, I always overhear little girls talking in the mall about having sex. What has come of this world. I didn't have sex for the first time till I was 18!

It's very sad, but I think it has a lot to do with girls growing up too fast not only mentally but physically as well. I never got breast till I was 16 or 17.

yes, indeed they do...they often sup tea with the tooth fairy, or have been known to induldge in a little christmas cheer with old jolly santa, golf with the easter bunny is another passtime favoured by the species, sadly, as with faries, every time someone says they don't believe in virgins...one is deflowered somewhere in the world, they may be becoming extinct, but at the moment there are a few over the age of 14 left...but you have to believe in them to see them.

Yeah, virginity is lost at a younger age... but that's just a generality. Not everyone loses it before HS is over.

yes, there are more virgins around, but people make it sound like a dirty word so virgins don't go around advertising it. Besides you can only give your virginity away once, so give it wisely. Boys and men are usually after one thing. Ask him to marry you, if he says no, then you know what he really wanted. Besides if you ask most women and girls if they were they sorry later they will tell you yes.
