Just a day and a half ago me && my xboyfriend had unprotected sex...and i have been feeling weird but not sure if its my period thats makin me feel like crap. i have headaches...feeling like im going to puke and stomache feels weird.&& i hv been eatin like a cow for the past day and a half. im tired then ever. but since monday i bled a lil and then stopped?? can someone help me?

I started my period sunday morning...monday morning i had sex. i bled a little after that and 2day i went to check and there was nothing??

It's highly unlikely that you'd be fertile in the first day or two of your period. You are shedding the lining of your uterus because the egg released 12-16 days ago was not fertilized and is no longer viable. Depending on the length of your cycle, it IS entirely possible to get pregnant from sex had in the later days of your period (some studies have shown that a small but significant percentage of women are fertile by Day 4 or 5.)
If you did manage to conceive a day and a half ago, you would be having no pregnancy symptoms yet. The embryo does not implant in the uterine wall and begin releasing pregnancy hormone until 6-12 days after conception. Your symptoms are far more likely to be related to your period.
If you are really worried about getting pregnant from this encounter, it's not too late to contact Planned Parenthood about getting emergency contraception. It a high dose of birth control pills that will prevent ovulation and thus conception if taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex. While you're there you can talk to them about the myriad other birth control options available to you so that you don't have a scare like this again.

You usually don't show symptoms of pregnancy until at least a week after conception. However, you can most definitely get pregnant almost at any time. Obviously, during ovulation is the most likely time but if your cycle is a little strange it can happen. Don't have unprotected sex. I've been married for four years and I use condoms because I can't be on the pill. My husband and I have one daughter which we planned and I know the exact day she was conceived. If I, a married woman of 28 years old, can be responsible, so can you. If you don't want to use birth control then you shouldn't be having sex.

Yes, you can. You are worrying yourself sick about it...literally. You should not feel the effects of pregnancy quite so fast but you said you started then stopped almost immediately. I would go get a pregnancy test and use both tests that come in the box about a week apart to make sure. Also a dr. visit might be good too. Since every woman is different no one can know for sure what day of her cycle the unfertilized egg will be discarded so yes, you can get pregnant while on your period. Don't panic if you are, there are plenty of people including your family to talk to. Your family might get upset but they will get over it.

I am not sure how old you are, but somebody should have told you a long time ago that the only way not to get pregnant is to practice abstinance. So, yes you can get pregnant,but also if you are worried about it, your body will get stressed and you will take on the signs of pregnancy. The best advice I can give is not to worry, and wait until next month to see if your period becomes regular.

Some women ovulate more than once in a month.
have there regular cycle then ovulate before or just as they would get there flow (some bleed for a couple of hours light or not at all) then a couple of weeks late you get your regular period.
But if you have a regular period and get it mainly at the same time all the time like clock work then you are more than likely not pregnant and just the stress of thinking you could be pregnant stopped your period.

I depends on your body. I have known women who have had periods when they were pregnant. So, I would not freak out just yet, wait a couple weeks, then do a pregnancy test. But it does make me think that if a woman can have a period through their pregnancy, then maybe you can get pregnant during...who knows. I would look it up, or call your doctor if you are not sure.

It takes 4 days for the baby to start grow and 2 weeks before there is a sign of you being preggies so most likely it's your period sometimes it feels like you just wanna die.

There is a chance that you can always get pregnant . but you body hasnt ovulated yet so your probably good. I wouldnt recomend having sex while on aunt flow cause can cause infection. Best of luck

yes you can get prego at anytime. More likely on your period because you are probably ovulating more. Next time be smart and wear a Condom or get on BC. World is way to overpopulated as it is.
