Libral or democratic...they like to go out nancin through their gardens...now on the other side of the isle are republicans...who like to go out and shoot thier food...
If they are typically libral that would explain alot about their thinking...you see they are not getting the nutriants from the fourth food group (MEAT) and it is affecting thier minds...
WOW...you just enlightened me onto a new theory! Thanks!
BUT, for me I love that 4th food group...its the most important part of the meal...VENISON...IT'S WHAT IS FOR DINNER...well, that is what we had last night anyhow...venison stir-fry (with onion, garlic, peppers and spices)...man it was good.

I don't have the statistics on how many are liberal and how many are conservative, and I would suppose there is a difference between people who are vegetarians because they believe meat is unhealthy and those who find it either too creepy or too cruel to eat living creatures. Some people are more concerned about their own little selves and their health, while other vegetarians are concerned about the animals or the creepy factor.
I don't necessarily think vegetarianism must be linked to any political leanings. I think the stereotype of vegetarians' tending to be liberal has taken hold even if its necessarily accurate.

I'm guessing typically liberal.. but it can be either side.
Typically vegetarians who don't like the idea of killing animals are probably like 99% liberal..
Personally I'm a vegetarian but know that humans were meant to eat meat. I'm just on... well a diet because the meat that I saw myself consuming was unhealthy. So I'm a vegetarian to loose weight and be more healthy.
You can be a vegetarian conservative or liberal. No matter.

I would guess that the majority of them are liberal, but I base that on an opinion that most vegetarians become so out of a dislike for killing animals.
Many vegetarians do it out of health concerns and they may or may not be liberal

They are usually more liberal. They don't like to waste.... but there can always be a bad banana in the bunch.

They are liberal in a Mao sort of way. A large segment of them are in favor of returning to a gathering type society where we live in huts and eat nuts and berries.
That would be fine with me if they want to live that life. But a significant portion want to impose that life style on the rest of us for our own good.
