i think that human males of all ages desire young sexual partners. Within the confines of American law, I suspect that most 40 year old men's optimal sexual partner would be described as aged 18-25 just like a 20 year old's preferred sexual partner would also be 18-25.

furthermore its necessary to comment that there is nothing scientific about the phrase "heat[ing] up their passion", as it is metaphorical and not factual or scientific.

as per survey done by masters and Johnson's it is scientifically proved that middle aged men turn to younger sexual partners to heat up their passion. when men crossed 40 years they face a peculiar middle age crisis. they are called uncles by other people. they can not mingle with the older people nor with younger people in 20s. if they fail to satisfy their wives, if they are younger than them, they get inferiority complex. in order to over come that they dye their hair, do face lifts.so in order to prove to the world that they are not inferior in sex, they try to turn to younger women and make several attempts to attract them.

It is not proven scientifically.....it's simply a preference. It has nothing to do with genetics or any part of the brain. It all depends on the man and his needs....and who he chooses to meet his needs!

i dont know that it is "scientifically proven" however i've heard that happens during a "mid life crisis" and that both genders turn to younger partners, not just men.

i think its probably an evolutionary adaptation... middle aged women start to become menopausal (meaning they can no longer bear children)

from a genetic point of view, it makes alot of sense for the middle aged man to ditch his menopausal woman to look for partners who can still bear him children...

the selfish gene theory says that all behavior is developed in order to get as many offspring into the next generation as possible

That may have something to do with it but I think the bigger thing is it gives them a new seance of life. It makes them feel like they used to and that can help in there mental feeling of them self which helps in the physical side.
