To start when you buy a new pair of shoes especially heels it takes about 2 or 3 times of all day wear to break them in and then they become more comfortable. If that doesnt work Dr. Scholls now makes a gel pad for high heels for women. I have heard they work well. If you have some cash to spend Sergio Rossi (gucci shoes) makes unbelieveably comfortable heels that feel like tennis shoes. Good Luck!

I have the same problem, Lately I get blisters from wearing any shoe that are not flip flops. One thing I noticed is that when I walk my feet are moving inward rather than straight out. I read in a magazine that people who walk this way are called pronators. They recommend wearing shoes with the soles that are straight and not curvy. Also the sole should be glued in. The reason for this is that the inner side of shoes tend to wear out faster.

not trying to be a butt or anything but don't wear them. i watched a special on woment and high heel shoes, and the constant usage of them may cause back problems later on down the line. If you must wear them, try a smaller heel or if you can manage to slip a replacement insole inside of it. I used to work for retail shoe stores and i can tell you comfort matters way more than look

The Dr. Scholls things work well, but consider a closed or peek a boo toe shoe. I personally find strappy sandals way cool, but my feet hurt like hell after 20 min. A cute 40's style shoe could help. Also, consider a wider width. Good luck and don't trip!

The inserts from Dr. Scholl's work great. Also, if you aren't used to wearing heels, then they are going to hurt for the first few days...especially if they are new shoes. You need to wear them more. I am wearing 3.5 inch heels today. I normally wear flats, so my feet are killing me! You need to break in the shoes and get your feet used to the feeling.

There are foot guards you can buy in a general store or some shoe stores... they are like little padded/cushioned things you put in the bottom of your shoe and makes it a bit easier to walk.
You can also get gel ones which offer a cooling sensation as well as a cushioned surface.

There are heel pads that you can wear. Then of course you must also condition your feet to such. Walk bare foot for a while. Your feet are oversensitive, like mine. Good luck.

I used to have the same problem. You just have to keep wearing them for short amounts of time everyday until your feet get used to it. I use moleskin to cover my blisters. The inserts I find dont work that well

Dr. Scholls actually just introduced a line of "Gellin" gel insoles for high heels that might help you out.

Wear regular shoes instead of high heels. Only use the high heels for special occasions.
