I don't think you will ever forget them completely. People we love or loved will always have a part of our heart and therefore whether the relationship was good or bad we will always remember that person.

Never!! I don't want to forget him. He is my LOVE, why would I try to forget him? Even though he's not in my life now, I still like the fact that he was, and will always have fond and unforgetable memories of him. There will always be a special place in my heart for him, since he is who I loved at that point of my life. If or when I begin a relationship with another man which may turn into a greater love of my heart, I know that my heart is big enough to hold the many loves of my life.

I don't think anyone ever really forgets someone that they truly loved. That person always will hold a special place in your heart. Even if things were good or bad. Theres nothing wrong with not forgetting them just don't let it mess up your chances on finding someone else. Your heart has plenty of love to offer to someone that is prob. even more special. Just give it time. Alot of ppl. go through this and feel the exact same way.

No! If it was love, you'll never forget. Why would you want to? First loves are amazing! You just don't know it until you've been through a few bad relationships.

Never, i dated my first love (who was also my best friend) for 3 years and we had known eachother for 10 years. We have seen eachother and our worst times and our best times. And now i wish i miss him so much and i will never forget him. He is amazing and i love him w/ all my heart still to this day!!! But trust me it hurts like hell but you will find a way to cope w/ it!!! GOODLUCK

It is hard for me because the one I loved was my husband of 10 years and he died 2 years ago. I am still grieving his loss to this day. I really loved him so much and I miss him so much it hurts.

no i got involved with this man for 3 years.when we broke up it hurt like hell.we broke up in 1996...i still love him dearly today.i know we'll never be together again but i have never loved anyone as much as i loved him,no one has touched my heart the way he did, i had to accept it and move on but i still love him so much
