I think Bush is a president who has a lot of good qualities, but debating is not one of them. Have you heard the speeches he writes, they sound like 3rd grade book reports. (John Roberts is a gentleman. He was born in blah, blah, blah. He was the son of a blah, blah, blah. It's all basic sentences with no pizzazz). Now he is good with other people's speeches, he knows how to put emotion in there and does it very well. But then he gets to the Q&A section of his talks and screws it up again, because he can't think very well on his feet.

Ahmadenijad on the other hand is an amazing speaker. He has passion and an intelligence that you'd be hardpressed to find anyone who can match him anywhere in the world. A debate between the two of them will completely embarass Bush (whether he is right or not is irrelavent, since he is practically incapable of getting his ideas across) and make Ahmadenijad look like the most capable statesman and diplomat (and obviously debater) in world history. A TV debate is the worst idea Bush could take up right now.

I have yet to see one debate that Bush has participated in that did not result in him looking like a confused child. I think Nader would have buried him, had they debated. Sad, really.
