The problem is to prevalent now to just KICK all the illegals out. But you are right. Part of the problem with the cost of health care is illegal immigration. But as you can see now, Bushites (including Bush himself) are doing absolutely NOTHING about illegal immigration. The border patrol can't even chase these people down and stop them when they are illegally entering into this country.
Another part of the problem is the FDA. They regulate EVERYTHING. Granted there are some things that need to be regulated.
The only feasible solution is to give government sponsored health care to all American citizens and put a tax on everyone that works to cover the cost.
Tell me why it costs $80 to get an aspirin from a hospital or doctors office.
The point is, these people do not want to cure anything. There is to much money in discovering ways to allow people to live with their disease. What happens when you eradicate a disease? The medicine for it becomes obsolete, hence, no longer used, sold, bought or manufactured.
Is there an answer that everyone can agree on? Probably not. It is a huge mess right now and I don't see it getting any better in the future.

Simple: Do you want to be a doctor? We'll pay for it. The catch is that you will work for 7-8 years in a hospital that provides free health care. It's alot like what the military does.
Oh, and if you hire illegal workers, you are a felon. If you hire 3 illegal workers, you go to jail for the rest of your life. I know, I know- it will punish the poor corporations who are already burdened with barely paying slave wages to legal workers, but it's time to collectively suck it up.

There is none. That is like asking, "how can I clean up after Hurricane Katrina with this shovel."
And understand, I am not making light of the hurricane, I am illustrating the magnitude of the health care system in America. It is a tremendous mess, especially when you add the cost of illegal immigrants. There are hospitals literally shutting down because of this.
You sir, have asked an excellent question of which there is no answer.

I think the plan that Massachusetts came up with sounds good. Requiring everyone to have health care but making it AFFORDABLE to those who aren't doing well financially. I have mixed emotions on government provided health care, I don't really know if that is the answer for us here in the U.S. but I personally like this plan.

To Pay their health care costs, so that there is a healthy work force to do the jobs (entry level) we Americans don't want to do.

That's a statement, not a question. If you're not happy with the way things are...make sure that you vote.

Is there such a thing as a "democrat solution"? My guess would be that they want the rich/Republicans to pay for it.

Why don't you run for office instead of griping all the time? Oh, wait a minute. My mistake. Running for office would require some semblance of education. Community college doesn't count.
