I knew a few white women and we had pleasant chat, but when I asked them for coffee. Then, they don’t want to respond to my text messages or calls anymore. They want to disappear.

I dont think it would have anything to do with you being Asian.
One of two things could be happening .
1 - You have made it very clear( maybe to clear) you want a platonic friendship and the girl in question may want more and thinks its a waste of time.
2 - The girl in question only wants platonic and maybe you have not made it clear enough thats your aim as well.
Also keep in mind it can be intimidating meeting someone for the first time after chatting so maybe put some more time in before you ask for a face to face.

Are you sure you are interested in a platonic relationship? That is hard for a woman to believe if you are insisting on meeting.
On the other hand if you are only IMing someone online & they disappear when you want to meet up maybe they were really MEN.
Be respectful, listen to her and always let her make the first move.

Openly let her know that you're just wanting to be friends. In any relationship no matter the intentions, communication is the most important thing.
