Yes www.skype.com is legal. It's free too but
you do need an internet connection or else a Skpe unit.. Once you have these you can watch for free. Make Phone calls. Watch Videos. Unfortunately it isn't available everywhere.. You just have to contact them to
see if their service is available in your area! It's not available where I am that's why I use Jetstream which isn't free! But It costs less than my Telephone connection!

It is a free website. I've seen their advertisement all over. They're not spywares. But do read the fine print to see if you need to pay with CC or something like that.

skype to skype calls is working same ideea as yahoo messenger to yahoo messenger calls and is totally free.
Skype offer (is a promo this year 2006) unlimited free skype-to-phone calls to USA and Canada if you are located (your computer) in North America. Is working fine. I tested. Will NOT work for free with other countries !!!

skype.com is a legitimate website that allows you to take advantage of VOIP(voice over internet protocol) technology to make long distance calls. If i'm not mistaken this service is being offered for free until year's end.

don't be doubtful, this site is quiet legitimate. the FREE here is for PC - PC call only. if you want pc to phone call then you need to subscribe or you use what they call skypeout service. with this service u can use skype to call any phone in the world. i have use this service for sure..it's good and cheap.
