The first thing to think about is getting your tires balanced. The best kind of balancing machine is called a spin balancer, which is what I recommend.

Shaking can also be warped brake rotors and more obscure components such as tie rods and steering rack bushings, but the most common cause is an out-of-balance tire. It should be a cheap fix, too... $10 or less per tire.

First try rotating and balancing the tires, if this has not been done recently. If this does not correct the problem, then try having the front end re-aligned. These are the most obvious causes, and the least expensive. If that does not resolve the problem, take your car to a reputable mechanic for a diagnostic check.

your descrption of the problem is way to generic, but here there are some things you could check or get someone qualified to do it:
* condition of the tires
* Ball joints
* Inner and outer tie rod ends
* Control arm
if you did hit a curve , check the spindle
i dont think is necesary check the rotors because the problem is when the car is running, not when you are hitting the brakes

My 99 Camry LE did the same thing. It was a tie rod end. Took the car in for an alignment and they spotted it. Drives much better now.

My assumption is that the wheels are out of alignment/are not balanced properly. To be sure, take the car to a tire shop and have them diagnose the issue as well.

Most likely one of your tires is out of balance.

Check tire balance and have them check your brake rotors too.
