Have you tried the museums in your vacinity?

Quite often they have these items and will know who manufactured them, when the company went out of business or was sold to what other company. The curators have a battery of volunteers researching exhibiting items, and often know what other museums have in their collections.

The item isn't that old, and it is quite possible someone still alive will remember how to repair them, or what parts were interchangeable with other like appliances of the period. Expensive as it is, you can always have missing or broken parts made by an ironworks or tool and die maker.

Why not just go to the manufacturer with your question. Eureka is still in business.
