My TV in the background.......If would have to listen to muzak, I would get too sleepy that by the time I would get to talk to a real person I would have forgetten what the heck I was calling for in the first place

Much rather hear "C" because it's not something you hear over and over again. Other tunes tend to really get on your nerves and makes you want to hang up especially if you're on hold for more than 5 minutes. Unless that's the purpose of the company not wanting to deal with a customer but that only gives a really bad rep

Radio Station! It's constantly changing and is entertaining and doesn't have an agenda.
Nothing is worse than hearing a company's recorded advertisement blab on and on about what it can do for me while I'm sitting there on hold, essentially being ignored.

Not E) anything but E) . Probably C). B) is full of a lot of b.s . I get B) when I call my local hospital and they go on and on about how fab they are , which they aren't . D) what are those ? Like tones for the hearing impaired ? The hearing impaired are lucky they don't have to hear those tones. After hearing those tones I feel like my hearing is impaired. A) silence is creepy , it's like being in a white room with nothing else.

B- pre-recorded message.That way I know I am still connected as for music and radio No because I can't srand some types of music and I might end up having to listen to it

"please wait a second" message is enough. i m sometimes not in a MOOD TO HEAR CRAP. i want silence. but u cn make a feature that when a customer says "music" ur music starts playin.
