they were living in n.c. and I in w.v.and my son was killed in an auto wreck.she won't let me get any of his possessions.called the law and cause she reside there,there was nothing they could do.they were only together a few months.He met her off the net,so there isn't much to say for her.she was married and shacked with him.what right does she have,how cruel can anyone be?

Yes, that is very sad and wrong. I would check again w/someone in the law enforcement community, because as the mother it seems you'd have more rights than a woman who hadn't known your son very long and who wasn't all that close to him (not a fiancee or wife).

You have my sympathies on your son's loss. Maybe you can call you local Legal Aid Society for some inexpensive or free advice.

yeah that isnt right ...seems there should be something you could do have you talked to a lawyer ....sometimes the police are not always helpful...so maybe you should call a lawyer and see what they say...at least get a free consultation...cant hurt...sounds like the gf is bogus to me what a Btch
