Try the San Diego Visitor & Convention Burueau. They've got coupons and stuff all the time. You don't have to buy in advance, but if you can find a deal online you might save yourself some money from buying at the gate. Check out Sea World's website as well that way you can compare actual gate prices with ones you can purchase in advance.

You don't have to buy in advance. You can buy at the gate. However, showing your AAA card usually gives you a discount and if you know anyone who belongs to a union, they usually have discount tickets also. I haven't seen any lately, but sometimes a fast-food restaurant will have discount coupons etc. Try searching on-line a little and see what happens.

AAA gives a discount, also check with Costco - they have tickets sometimes too at a discounted price. When we went we used out AAA card and saved like $10 a ticket.
