I'm not a doctor, but this sounds like a circulation problem - she should be seeking medical advice, not leaving it to you.

It's restless leg syndrome. Try eating a banana or something with peanut butter. Works for me, but I would describe it more as an antsy feeling, like having to toss and turn every 30 seconds or so before falling asleep. It has something to do with vitamins or minerals in the body.

Is she taking weight loss pills during the night? If not that, she probably has a pretty good metabolism going on. Get a fan and have her put it on the opposite side of the bed and leave it on during the night so her legs will be cooled down.

She needs to elevate her legs up high,put a bottle of water in the freezer and freeze it and put it on her feet at night if she cant elevate them.

See her doctor about Restless Leg Syndrome same happens to me................
