No life is not a great tragedy. Life is what you make of it and if you expect your life to be filled with tragedies then that is what you will get. Life is filled with beauty and miracles all you got to do is open your heart and your eyes for it and make use of all the new possibilities that every new day brings to make something beautiful out of your life.

No, because without life, everything would cease to exist. Without life, there's no meaning to living and nothing would be living. Life is a beautiful thing, that teaches us love, heartache, heartbreak, joy, happiness, and a lot of other great things. Yes there is tragedies, but that's just apart of life. You have to look over the bad things, and see the good.

I find it more like a comedy, because even if you think yourself in the deepest hole and with no way out (like a tragedy might make us think) the answer most the times is at our reach which turns our tragedy into a comedy for everybody else.
Is just a matter to see beyond our self pity

i wouldn't call it a tragedy...'adventure' is more like it.(but 'comedy' fits too :-) )it's full of things that are unexpected and wonderful. sometimes it's a rollercoaster ride...which could be really bad or simply the time of your life but later on you'll only look back at it and smile. no matter what, you're past should amuse you. because as you grow with life, you'll realize that there's hidden beauty in every moment of it...believe me, it's fun...
even when you're going through a really rough time you should remember that you're not alone and with every tear you shed there's another billion(more thn that?) doing the same....
and i agree, the world maybe filled with so many selfish, insensitive hearts...but we're all together in this...we'll face it all together...'coz its simple, we're all only human...hence, we're all equal
i know it's easier said thn done, but looking at things in a positive way is the best method of interpreting life... look at great heroes (Helen Keller, Stephen Hawking...etc) ... don't you think it's really shameful of us to grumble when we are obviously more gifted than they were..?
what's the point of good if there's no bad...there's two sides of everything...and we have to accept it and live with it...
and our egoes will always be a hindrance...but humility and respect are qualities all of us learn to have...for they're not signs of weakness, rather they show strength of character and dignity....
remember, life isn't all about success...even if you aren't able to achieve a thing... live every moment of it.

Not necessarily a tragedy, unless you view it that way. I see it as a large unfinished book and I get to write the text.

well that's depressing. life is many things, but it cannot be only one thing. a big part of your life may have been tragic, but there were some good times, there must be something in the future to look forward to? maybe something you don't know about yet. take action and make your life an action-adventure! or a romance.

I don't think so.
I think that there are tragedies in life but I think that they can be used to make us stronger.
They say what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

life is full of both tragedy and comedy. If you learn how to direct the subject of this theatrical play called 'life', it becomes tragicomic and maybe later you may enjoy it..

Life is what you make of it, if you make it a tragedy, it will be so.
