3 divided by 0 is infinity.
Consider
3/1 =3
3/.5 = 6
3/.1 = 30
3/.05 = 60
3/.01 = 300
3/.001 = 3000
Note that as the denominator gets smaller, the answer gets larger. If someone keeps making the denominator smaller, the answer keeps getting bigger. As the denominator approaches zero, the answer approaches infinity. When the denominator is zero, the answer is infinity. Some programs will give you the answer as an "8" lying on its side :that's the symbol for infinity. Most programs will give you "error".

0 is a unusual huge variety. in reality, it in no way even used to exist. some human beings in basic terms had to have some huge variety to reveal the non-existence of gadgets. that's that none-existent nature of 0 that provides it this nature. the way i glance at dividing by using 0 is the way the human beings who got here up with 0 ought to have: attempting to split up sources. in basic terms imagine about it: say you've one acre of land to split up. you may divide it into a million, 1000 factors, or perhaps ten thousand factors. yet once you're taking that field and attempt to divide it 0 situations, that's not conceivable. there remains the land. The minimum approaches that field must be divided is into a million. more beneficial or a lot less, that's an similar with the numbers, although even as using organic numbers you should use decimals, infinitely on the brink of 0, or perhaps damaging. 0 is in basic terms an exciting theory. that's in simple terms not something. the regulations in math for person-friendly math must be that multiplication and branch are reciprical purposes, that's that they cancel one yet another out. operating example, 4*x= 5, then x = 5/4. even as it includes 0 although, this can't follow. while 5*0 = 0, 0/0 would not equivalent 5.

When 0 is the denominator, you get an error because the answer is undefined. When 0 is the numerator, the answer is 0.

Any number divided by zero is undefined. There is no answer, so most software simply says "error".

3/0 is infinite or error..0/3 means 0..
if it makes u confused..try this..
for 3/0..u have 0 cake..than u have 3 people to share the cake..so..nothing to be shared is it? so..its infinite or error..
as for 0/3..u have 3 cakes..but no one want to share the cake..so..it is 0 coz nobody deserve the cakes..
good luck!~

It is not possible to take a third of nothing. In a example like this, the answer would be undefined.
