Hi,
The dish originated in Italy. It is spelled Lasagna. My mom is Italian, and she makes this dish and lots of other Italian favorites from scratch. That woman is an awesome cook. Have you ever had, the dessert : Tirimisu. You ought to taste her version. if you have "any" other questions on Italian cooking, please e-mail me and I will get you the correct answer. Take care.

If your are speaking of lasagna which is a delicious dish that has layers and layers of meat's and cheese's than you are speaking of Italy. Italians are the experts on taste and fat filled dishes.

Lasagna is Italian, just like spaghetti and most of pasta, on the whole. It's pretty easy to cook, and it's really delicious...mmm...white lasagna (with cream and cheese sause) is much more fattening than the red one (with tomatoe sause)...so, be careful ;)

Lasagna. Italy? Or at least I'd assume because it has similar components to pizza.
