I bought some advertising over the phone for the interenet by credit card (I'm already kicking myself ok). I did not sign anything, a day later I found out the company was ripping people off. I called them back and said I wanted my money back, they said I couldn't because the advertising was already bought. I told them I didn't sign anything but he said the telephone conversation was recorded and I agreed that I couldn't change my mind after we hung up. Ok, so, does the recording hold any merit or is he just trying to scare me. Also, the next day he e-mailed me a bill of sale to sign and fax back to him. If he claims I can't get my money back then why does he need me to sign a bill of sale since he has the phone recording? I've already contacted my cc company for a charge back, but they said to try to resolve it w/ the company first. Can't I exercise my right to rescind within 3 days of purchase? If anyone knows anything, I would appreciate the help. Thanks

Yes, you have three days to change your mind. Call the credit card company and cancel the payment ASAP
