Get some Terro ant killer and put it on a small piece of cardboard and slide it under an area where the ants are and where the cat can't get to it. You should be able to find it in a hardware store or maybe Walmart. My parents used this years ago and we had a dog at the time. Since this stuff can be put out of doggy or kitty's reach it is safe.
Have a great day and pet your kitty hello from me and my kitties, Figaro & Rosina.

Where are the ants? You can leave fresh Bay leaves around, it deters the ants and is not harmful to the cat should he/she play with or try to eat them....then you can also get boric acid (powder) and carefully sprinkle (top of bottle should have fine pinhole opening to do this)it behind kitchen counters, baseboards and back behind fridge and stove. Ant traps will work too, your cat won't want to go near them.

positioned your cat in a room as a methods from the kitchen as available.. Sweep and vacuum the floor any tiny fragment of nutrition or grain of sugar will entice them. Then supply it a solid mopping.clean all the counters so no nutrition is open and any open nutrition is sealed tight or a minimum of has a twist tie on it. Get some Raid and spray all the baseboards, and the door way and enable air dry approximately quarter-hour.. open the door till the fragrance is long previous., there is one accessible that has a barrier will final 6 months to a 300 and sixty 5 days and its working for me! in case you have a small kitchen this could all take approximately half-hour and as quickly as you have achieved that i could advise spraying the baseboards of the front room, eating room and tub. they arrive in interior the path of the pipes and any tiny crack interior the partitions. enable kitty decrease back into the main section as quickly as dried it won't injury the cats I even have 2 and in case you do it this style it works super. p.s. ants love cat nutrition so spraying the doorway, and baseboards will keep them removed from his nutrition too!

Get a string, and bring your cat around the ants. Then dangle the string and your cats will step on the ants.

Take some yeast and some table sugar and mix them together. When the ants eat it the yeast will expand in their stomac and kill them and I dont think a cat will eat it.

Put out a glazed donut, let them all cover it, spray it with ant killer and throw away. Continue this until the ants are gone.

Keep things clean, very clean. Go through and clean everything in the areas/room you have ants. after that keep up on it. If they have nothing to feed off of, they have no reason to stay.
