Let me say that I hate frosting and chocolate. My husband made me a heart shaped cake without frosting. Then he made me chocolate chip cookies with no chips. This may seem stupid to some but that showed me how much he loved me. I am 35 and nobody has ever went through the trouble. Plus he is a singer, piano player and song writer. He has surprised me several times with special songs just for me. He has been playing with his band and dedicated a song just to me. He will send me an email when I am sleeping just to say I love you. He is a sweet guy and stopping on his way home and picking a wild flower is the sweetest thing ever.

Pay attention. Pay attention. Pay attention. THEN, use some of what you learned while paying attention.
ie: If your partner mentions something frequently or notices something on a commercial or while out and about, go get/do it for them (assuming it's not outside financial means). But try to surprise them, bring it home. Leave it on a counter.
For no holiday or special occasion, just randomly write them a lil' note or get a card and leave it someplace they will unexpectedly find it... like maybe when they are working or in their lunch (if they actually bring one!). Just be creative. Tell them thanks for something (big or small) they did or how much you still love them.
If she is always complaining about something being broke, get off your but and at least make an effort to fix it!
If she/he is tired or sore after work, give a hands or shoulder massage for a few minutes. You don't have to kill yourself, just give some personal touch, not the sexual intimate kind. The kind that says, "thank you for going through your daily routine"

Everyday I tell him I love him. When he get's home tier from work I open the door for him help him take off his cloths and shoes. Give him something to drink and have him sit and relax and watch TV. I also sometimes give him a full body massage with only candles on so he could relax a little better. I surprise him with candle light dinners and romantic music. I have done the bubble bath with rose peddles. I have done so many other things! I always come up with new things to do for the love of my life. Just because you get married doesn't mean the romance has to end. As a matter of fact it has just begun.

I'll get the little things out of the way: saying thank you, a kiss on the cheek or mouth or forehead, a hug (bear or any other), to make a meal for them, to make tea (or whatever) for them as they watch TV. I'll probably think of more, but I'm thinking of what I would like right now/these days.

I always tell my husband that I love him every day. I tell him thank you for all he does for me and our family. I treat him to a date night once a month. I cook him special meals. I tell people I know that he is my angel from God and mean it. I let him know he is my best friend, my hero, and my knight in shining armor. I tell him I think he is sexy just the way he is. I don't get jealous if he looks at another women. I know that if he looks that he is appreciating more what he has at home. Most of all he knows he is wanted and needed in my life.

Send short love notes in his lunch box or brief case. Make a romatic dinner for him. Bake him something you know he'll like. Pick him up a small gift that you think he might enjoy. Just remind him you love him and how special he is.

I get a dvd that I know she would like to see and curl up with her on the couch.
I fold laundry without being asked.
I take our son out for a few hours so she can get some time for herself.
...just a few of the ways...
