Halloween, Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street... all these movies are classics. The Exorcist was creepy. The Ring scared me.... I don't know that I have a fave horror moive but, I love all horror movies in general. Im always up for a good scare.

There are a ton of great ones, but I would have to pick Alien.
I know not horribly scarry, but the thing with most horror movies is you can pick them apart (run, leave, grab the gun, etc...). Alien was one of the first that I can remember seeing that you really couldn't do that with. You were in SPACE with no real way to run. Besides I can distinclty remember getting the belly ache when I was a kid and thinking "ow no that thing is going to jump out of my stomach" LOL

I do like the Exocist but The Ring scared me the most, for cult classic Horrors you can't beat the Evil Dead movies. Of the most resent that Exorcism of Emily Rose creeped me out.

There are a lot that might qualify for that title but I'm sticking with Dracula starring Bela Lugosi. His stare alone sends chills up and down the spine.It's still the de rigeur of horror films

also Exorcist 3! (NOT 2) There are some twists in there that really creep me out.
