I think that all the people of the Middle East have a greater right to peace than any of the various governments do to wage war. If one thing is evident it is that the violence in the region leads to more violence. It does not and has not as far as i can see been a useful tool in resolving the Middle East problem which ever leaders used it. They have simply betrayed the people they claim to lead.

I thought that is what started the war. People that lived in Lebonon came over and took those soliders right? And they have been messing with Israel for years....I guess the Lebanese government could if they wanted to, but I think that would give Isreal the right to wipe them off the map. Plus the Lebanese Gov wants peace in thier country, and Israel is going to help give back the power to t\he Lebanese government anyways.

No, Lebanon has been taken over by the terrorist Hezbollah who invaded Israel. Your war is with Hezbollah if you want to be safe in your home and person. I can tell you now, the Hezbollah will destroy your country in an effort to carry out the wishes of Iran. In the final hours of your life, if you side with the Hezbollah, in a fight with Israel for the sake of Iran, there will be one flash and then eternity. I know there is very little you can do, but at least you should know that Hezbollah is your enemy, NOT Israel. We all have the same God ... please know that I care about you and your people. If you want to give your life, work with your friends to defeat your enemy ... the Hezbollah.

Do you mean after the cease-fire in the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah?
Nothing gives Lebanon the right, except military force. And that's been a justification for thousands of years. It's called war.
But if you want to claim justification, an armed force of Lebanese nationals attacked Israel. They attacked first, and they did so with the tacit approval of the Lebanese govt. So, Lebanon really has no grounds for complaint when the target of that attack struck back. That's also called war.

hmmm consider this way, a terrorist/resistance group dedicated to the destruction of Israel was operating out of southern Lebanon. the United Nations had passed a resolution demanding that they disarm. The Lebanese army realistically couldn't disarm them because they just weren't strong enough and were afraid of starting a civil war. Fair enough, why go looking for trouble?
However, when that group starts attacking Israel from Lebanese territory it's bid naive to assume that Lebanon has any claim of neutrality. by allowing this group to operate from their territory they are essentially giving their consent to that group's activities.
When al Qaida attacked the US, we attacked the Taliban regieme in Afghanistan, not because they had anything to do with 9-11, but because they were allowing al Qaida to operate from thier country.
What happened in Lebanon was tragic, but the Lebanese government made a choice to ignore Hizbollah for the sake of avoiding a fight. In hindsight it now seems like that was a bad choice.

Technically, they do have the right as even though its a terrorist organization that started the hostilities against Israel by initiating the kidnapping, and that they are Lebanese people, the fact remains that it was ultimately Lebanon as a nation that got attacked.
So as I said, technically they do have a right to hit back to defend themselves.

Do you mean legal right or moral right?I'm sure they have the legal right to do so under the Geneva Convention but Hezbollah prompted these attacks so morally I'd say they're obligated to control these radical factions from within. But you're right they'll have their *** handed to them by the Israelis

And break the CEASE FIRE ?
That's right, only Isreal has to obey the cease fire or so go ahead .
Just don't complain when Lebanon is totally reduced to a rock pile.

you betcha, and then we can invade lebanon, and then hezbollah will send suicide bombers to kill us, and then when we are dead canada will invade the former USA (now the united states of allah), which will cause Iran and Syria to invade canada, and then france will want to invade iran and syria because canada is full of french people, but they are kinda sissy, so they will talk germany and russia into doing it, at which point the germans will decide they would rather invade israel and finish killing all the jews, and MEANWHILE...bill gates who is on his orbiting space station, will get fed up and deactivate all of germanys windows software, forcing them to convert to macs or open source, which will cause a death cult to form around the memory of steve jobs, and their worship practices will inadvertantly cause the arrival of the anti-christ, (George W. Bush VIII) and he will plunge the world in to absolute chaos and disorder...kind of like the current George W. Bush has:)
