If you would like my advice dont follow any fad diets (ie: nutrisystem, zantrex 3, hydroxycut). While they might work for some they are mostly a waste of time and worse, money. Start small by moderate changes (ie: changing your sandwiches to wheat bread). Most importantly eat a small breakfast. Most people dont and by eating breakfast you are keeping your metabiloism up and balanced instead of shoving your face at 12 because you haven't had anything yet and then your metabolism becomes overwhelmed. Try eating half of every meal you normally would or cut out a good sized portion of a plate you would usually finish. Dont snack too much and when you do make it an apple or something healthy. Most importantly set aside 45 mins 3 times a week at the least and WORK OUT. Get a gym membership or something. There is no better way to not only look better but FEEL better.

Try portion control meals, eat only what you need to and nothing more. If you think you are hungry slam a glass a water and wait 15 min. before eating. If you are still feeling hungry then eat. Avoid snacks here and there, that adds up-even if you eat healthy such as veggies and fruits try to control portions of what you take in. Eating in portions doesn't mean that you are on a diet and you have to avoid chocolate and other fav foods it just means you eat without over indulging in it. And of course as always working out helps such as a cardio workout for at least 30 min a day. I like to do Pilate's because it is both cardio and muscle toning.

After looking at Girls Aloud, I want to eat! Skinny is not a good look - healthy and toned is. To be skinny (if it is not your natural body shape), you have to stop eating and exercise lots. Then your bones will become brittle, your hair will fall out and your skin will look sallow and lifeless.
But - to be slim and healthy, eat a balanced diet with lots of fruit and vegetables, drink at least two litres of water a day and do some exercise, daily if possible, eg at least 20 mins of walking, working up a sweat. That way, you will look glowing, sexy and feminine as well as fit!

Oh my god are you absolutely crazy?? have you seen any recent pictures of nadine??? She looks horrid,she's way to thin & nobody should strive to look like her,she is not a positive role model for any young woman. If you feel you need to lose weight in order to be healthier you shoul exercise regularly & eat healthy but do it for the right reasons not to follow some "celebrity" trend which is not healthy & could make you sick.

Go low on the calories (not too much chocolate or candy) and less fats and oil. Instead, eat veggies, fruits and other healthy food. Drinking a lot of water takes the bad stuff inside your body out, so drink AT LEAST 8 glasses of water every day. Exercise at least 30 min. a day. You could also get a trainer if you want.

Being slim and slender is nice, try a sensible diet with some light excercise to help burn those calories and slowly these extra pounds will work themselves off. But do not go overboard on trying to be skinny (hate that word) some peoples genes are that way inclined others work at it, decide what you are.

Limit yourself to 3 sensible meals a day without any snacks. I lost over 30 pounds using this method in 10 weeks without ever starving myself. Exercise helps but if you're still eating 3000 calories a day it won't do much good.

Dont aspire to skinniness - just be what is right for you. If you really listen to what your body says it will all balance out - if it says cream cake one day it will tend to say salad another, even after five consecutive days of cream cakes. Ive done this all my life, never denied myself what i felt like eating and am still a size 6-8 (5ft 6) after three kids including twins. Good luck and be happy
