Lots. Some people are raised in homes where the parents bash gays and do not approve of the life style. So the children grow up thinking that there is something wrong with them, and they are too embarrassed or ashamed to come out. Until they grow up and decide they can't change who they are, and don't want to live in denial any more.

No one knows for sure, that's what "secret" means. While the "Country" may be "good" that doesn't mean the person's family or friends are accepting. Gay people are individuals and each person has a reason for doing what they do and why.

There are probably many many secret gays out there. There is still a lot of bigotry about. People are afraid to "come out" as they are frightened they might lose their jobs or suffer bullying. Most people associate gays with Aids so they are frightened. When people are frightened they destroy or try to get rid of what is frightening them instead of understanding and being rational

well if you go by many studies that suggests about 10% of the population is gay....well there are roughly 6 billion people on the planet so that would be 600 million gay people. Now just subtract all the ones that are open about it and there ya go

am secretly gay, lol.
actually, everybody else knew before i did. i just thought women were sexy, and thought of it as being no more important than the colour of my eyes/hair/skin. just part of me.
it's other people that make a big deal of it for me/others lgbts, especially when these "str8s" want to gossip.
sad, innit, this gossiping?...why can't they get a real hobby?
