International House London do a certificate course with the University of Cambridge - very good. You can do it there or in Barcelona or at another of their affiliate schools that run a course. There are others which are cheaper.... you need to ask around and talk to people who have done a TEFL course recently to find out their experiences. TEFL is a fast moving world (I qualified 10 years ago) and so couldn't tell you where to go now.
I think IH is a good safe bet though. They are interested in teaching and training their teachers - not in making a quick buck. good luck.

please explain more , do you want to qualify to TEFL if you do i think the best place to get your certificate is at collage, there is a very good 8 wk course but i understand that jobs in this country are few and it is more aimed towards teaching abroad.Phone your local collages and they will asist you on this. Good luck.
