My FF draft is coming up, and my choice appears to be between Julie Jones, and Kevin Jones. Do any Cowboys or Lions fans have any inside info that will help in this decision?

I would have to say Kevin over Julius at this time. Julius is sharing carries with Barber and he has a knack for geting dinged up. Kevin is really the only good back in Detroit. He should have the better year.

I'm not either a Cowboy or Lions fan, but if I had to take one Jones on this list, it should be Kevin Jones. JJ should be a great back of the future, but unlike his big brother Thomas, his job is unsecured at this moment. Bill Parcell is completely "head over heels" for Marion Barber and if Parcell had his way, Barber should see some carries, even on third down, which means that JJ fantasy value is limited at this moment.

KJ has the job all by himself, despite tanking last season. The team has remodel their coaching staff, with Rob Marrinelli as the Head Coach and Mike Martz as the offensive coordinator. Martz was the one who took "the greatest show on turf" to the next level and this offense has benefited Torry Holt and Steven Jackson in the past, so Jones and Roy Williams should be the beneficiaries of the offense (as long as Jon Kitna could pass, which he did in the past with Cincinnatti).

Clearly, if you pick up Julius Jones, make sure you pick up Marion Barber in the later rounds. Kevin Jones should have a more productive 2006 yr. than 2005.

Parcels like to run the ball.
With Mike Martz as the offensive coordinator in Detroit, look for more of a passing game.

definatly Julius Jones. Barber wont be much to worry about, but with the TO problem going on there should be plenty of carries for everyone. In Detroit Kevin was a huge letdown, and now with Mike Martz as the offensive coordinator and a great lineup of receivers expect the Lions to start a Pass-first offense.

I'd go with Kevin Jones. Julius can't seem to stay healthy and Marion Barber steals carries from him even if he is. Kevin had a terrible year last year, but with a new QB and O-Coordinator, things could turn around for him.

Neither one should go before late 2nd round in 12-team formats.

Kevin Jones because Julius could be replaced sometime during the year.

Kevin Jones
Rob Marinelli has supported the line and he should become a godd player. Julius never seems to be able to sta healthy. Parcells is also a fan of Marion Barber who should steal a lot of carries from Julius.

I would pick up Indiana Jones before any of them two.

I would avoid both of these guys. Go for Droughens or McGahee.
