I got my lip pierced yesterday and i was told it shouldnt hurt to eat but it does is this normal and how long will it hurt!?!

I wouldn't support getting pirecings in the first place, but since you already have one, it probably will hurt for a few days as the area around your lip adjusts to it.
Give it a few days, to a week, once it starts to heal, and I'm sure it won't hurt.

heavy pain for one week..then a small pain for next week
it will be healed by 2 week.........
nothing to worry... try to avoid chilly flavour foods...
