The radio works, the cassette player works. But the cd player quits!! It reads "no disk".... and there IS a disk. Any idea of what to do? I have used a cleaner and that does not do anything.

Are you playing a burned disk?

Chances are that the CD player in the radio can't play audio CD's that have been burned, I know because I have a DVD player that won't accept burned CD's. I also have a regular CD player that won't play burned CD's as well. It only plays original CD's unfortunately.

I take it you've tried multiple cd's? When you say "3" cd players I take it you mean one unit that holds 3 cd's? Is it a computer formatted cd your trying? If so, try a regular music cd to see if you are still having the problem. If that fixes it then the problem is that your cd player will not read the formatting done by your computer.

1st off, r u sure the cd is ok? hav u tried it a different player? duz it contain recorded files or is a store bought? some older players wont play mp3 and other recorded file types.

u've tried other cd's i assume. if not, try other cd's. store bought ones.

do u have a blower? blow out (dont touch) the cd's reader head. it looks like a silver button about 1/4 inch.
