My parents are 5'4(Mom) and 5'9(Dad) and only two of my brothers are real tall.

YOU ARE PERFECT. In China and India plus in most Asian countries the average height is 5'6 to 5'9. So if you are 5'3 in this tender age of 14, then you are O.K. Well, just excercise a lot and do some swiming or if you can find a tree in some park or a near by woods, then you can use the branch to hang from it by holding it with both of your hands.

I do not know if you are a boy or a girl. Normally girls grow first and develop later. Boys develop first and grow later. You may see a girl and a boy of same age like yours and the girl may be taller. If you are a boy, you will start growing tall after 15 or 16 yo. If you are a girl, you should have grown tall already. 5´3 is a perfect and healthy heigh for a 14 yo, regardless your gender. If you are a boy, you still will grow taller. If you are a girl, you are finishing growing. I hope this helps.

Ha! Try being 19 and being 4'10. You're 14. I stopped growing upwards at about that age. Both parents are short. You may or may not grow anymore. Depends on the genes. Women usualy stop growing anywhere from 18-21.

no it is not an avarage height and if you stay that height when you are older you will be considered a dwarf, and that will open the door for many people tobe cruel to you, call you names, insult you and descriminate against you when it comes to getting employment etc,. Also you are more likely to get arrested or accused of a crime than a tall person. I really would like to know why you have decided you would rather be a dwarf than a normal sized person.

I am 5'5 and I stopped growing when I turned about 16. I actually wish I was taller. You will too. Boys your age are shorter or as tall as you, but when you become adults the boys will have shot up a foot more! You are a normal height for your age, but theres nothing to stop you from growing taller.

well depending on how tall your parents are then that is what determines your height for instance i am a 13 year old male my mom is 5'0 and my dad is like 6'2 and i am 5'5 so if you parents both are short you will proly stay that size because you normally dont grow taller than your parents

5' 3" is pretty normal for a 14 year old towards the end of a growth spurt. you probably wont grow too much more unless both of your parents are tall.

you really dont have a say over how tall you are. You might want to get your thyroid checked if you thinks its something medical.
5 3 isnt a bad thing. As you age you will gain weight and beleive me being taller makes it easier to deal with the weight issue.
and besides im sure you are beautiful no matter how tall you are...

You're just fine. No one knows if you'll grow anymore. I stopped at 11, my sisters all kept growing.
